Taking Tiare flowers on planes

Is it possible to take a box/bunch/bundle etc. of tiare flowers on the plane from Papeete to Los Angeles? Would they let me out of Tahiti? Would they let me into LA?

They won't let you into the United States with flowers, soil, meat, sausages and lots of other stuff.

But in the shops in Tahiti you can buy Monoi oil scented with jasmine/gardenia scent, etc, closest thing I could fine to a long-lasting scent in an oil, etc.
