Trip Report - Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, the local people

French Polynesia was great. It has the clearest water and most amazing lagoons (by far) of anywhere my wife and I have been. The Tahitian people are the most open, welcoming, friendly, nicest people we've met anywhere. The crime rate must be extremely low.

We stayed much too long in Bora Bora. We were there 6 nights and 2-3 would have been more appropriate. The only draw there is the big and beautiful lagoon. The island is no fun. Moorea was awesome all around. What we saw of Papeete was good. Teahupoo in a boat on August 27th was INSANE! :)
