i know this sounds like i don't know but i'll give it a go ; this site has proven so helpful in the past ! so the question goes :
me and my girl are going to tahiti and the nearby islands just after christmas and plan to stay there until 3rd week of january ; the hotels we found so far on the internet are way too expensive or overbooked
what is your guys experience there and what should we be looking for anyhow ?
we might be looking for something cheap (as it gets) knowing that new year's eve is new year's eve and we wouldn't mind some comfort over a few special days

| raro01:36 UTC13 Nov 2007 | Might be better to check out places on Moorea, or even further out such as Huahine. The latter will cost a bit more for flights, though.
You might check silvanocat's Tahiti website, listed elsewhere, and take it from there.
