Accom in Uoleva

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Tonga

Hey folks,
Four of us are making our way to Tonga in a week and are keen to chill out on Uoleva for 3-5 nights. Is it advisable to try and book this prior, or just take it as it comes and turn up on their doorsteps? Are both places (captain cooks and tanias) still open?
Cheers

I do not have Ha'apai Visitor's Bureau's e-mail address, but their phone/fax number is +676-60733. Why don't you try to phone/fax them. I'm sure they can help you.

I wouldn't say you need to prebook, but if you call Diana or Kepu and arrange, they (or another family memeber) will come to pick you up in Lifuka! When I was there captain cooks was closed, but hat's a while ago... I would def. recommend going, i had the best time of my life at uoleva :-) send my love to the family...
