buying antibiotics in Tonga

hi guys

do you need a prescription to buy antibiotics in Tonga? If not, can you be sure you are not just getting panadol or something? thanks, J.

Panadol is sold in the mini markets, i bought a box for 3 pa'anga in vava'u in the mini market, in the main street of Neiafu. There is a farmacy there and Scott will be able to sell you some basic antibiotics.

Depending on where you go, there might not be a mini market.... Consider taking som basic stuff

thanks yes i think i will take some, i have a basic infection that pops up once in a while.

You can get all these in any pharmacy without doctor's prescription ;)

The hospital in Nuku'alofa is fine.

I don't know about prescriptions as the doctor would just give me something at the club.
