Chathams pacific bookings

Anyone got any ideas on how I can book a RTN Tongatapu – Vava’u ticket.

Can't book online.
Nobody picks up on the phone number listed on their website (+676 28 133)
I've emailed 'Reservations@ChathamsPacific.com'

Nothing .....

What more can I do?

its one of those situations i'd actually reccomend going to a travel agent before you leave home - flight centre etc.

Try the email address again, and let them know it's urgent.

I got my domestic flights (Nuku'Alofa -> Ha'apai -> Vava'u -> Nuku'Alofa) booked in a day after not hearing anything for a few days beforehand. Use the website for working out what flights you want, and just email them the flight details, cost breakdown and passenger name(s). Once I did that, they were very efficient. Paid for via credit card and booked within about 5 hours, through multiple emails.

I'm impressed with their service so far, although we haven't actually flown anywhere yet. :)

The airline is run by a New Zealand Airline, Air Chathams. There are NZ Managers, NZ Pilots and NZ aircraft, the company is very well run and provide an excellent service.

Please be aware, the local domestic operation, Airlines of Tonga, is not currently operating. There are many people still booking with travel agents in NZ & Aussie then arriving in Tonga to find out they have lost their money and have to buy new tickets on Chathams Pacific.

They operate regular schedules from Tongatapu to Hai'pai, Vavau, and Eua. Starting soon will be flights to the Nuias.

Mention that you want to know if "George" is still flying for them in Tonga. Might get you some preference when they decide to answer e-mails.

No sorry, George doesn't fly for Air Chathams any more....... But I'm sure they will reply just as soon as they can!!!!!

Chathams Pacific are Tonga's domestic airline and they offer Kingdom Passes on their website which offer a discounted rate for travel to more than one island group. Hopefully you'll get the chance to fly on the DC-3 between Tongatapu and Ha'apai which has been restored recently.
