then, I would like to swim with whales, but I have only 3 days in september 2010 in vava'u island, then do you think, that it is possible to swim with whales, and not only see them, with only 3 days?
and I would to know, which compagny is better?
: whalewatchvavau (150$ us day trip) divevava'u (150$ us day trip) whales in the wild (190$ AU day trip) sailing safaris (125$us) or http://www.dolphinpacificdiving.com (250$ top)
I think take the cheapest, I am a "budget traveller", thene, http://www.dolphinpacificdiving.com
do you know them? or the others??? could you help me to choose the best compagny for a day trip, please?

Actually, I saw a whale and calf when relaxing on Fafa Island, once.

| gdoubleu06:29 UTC15 Oct 2009 | Hi Jenny, My family and I have just returned from swimming with the whales in Vava'u. We went with Dolphin Pacific Diving for two days and swam with whales on both days. They are a very professional company run by Alistair, a young English guy, who was our skipper on our first trip. We swam with a mother, calf and their escort that day. Our skipper on the second day was "Tonga" a local guy, with him we swam with a lone male humpback and later with a mother with her feeding calf. Both days our "whale guide" was Kelda who was knowledgable and experienced. She managed to locate the lone whale by listening to his singing, even though he was 10 metres below the surface! We were all really happy with our experience with Dolphin Pacific. The day after our last trip was very windy and the sea was rough, consequently none of the boats out that day were able to swim with the whales. Unfortunately there are no guarantees. We went to Vava'u in July 2006 and briefly swam with a female and three males on a "heat run" (mating), but we knew we had to come back and swim with a mother and calf. In 06 we went out with WhaleWatch Vava'u, and found them great, though there weren't many whales around that early in the season. Their prices have gone up a lot since then so we tried Dolphin Pacific. Hope this helps your decision. Gavin

We always go with Beluga diving. Not sure on their prices, but you should look into it.
