Tonga in March?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Tonga

Hello, I will be in New Zealand in March and I thought of flying to Tonga in late March for a week. But I see that the weather is very stormy. Is it Worth it when the weather is like that? Is it possible to enjoy Tonga in such a weather or will it be totally worthless?

We have had many trips to the Pacific Islands and go without regard to the time of year and all holidays have been worth it.
Have only had one in Tahiti that rained all day every day but we still enjoyed it.
Even in the rainy season it is still warm and it does not stop us doing what we want to do.
Would also point out that we are in the middle of summer but have had snow here in Wanaka NZ this week so season seems to no longer be a factor in what the weather will be like.
