2-Island Vacation 2018

My husband and I are trying to plan a 2-island vacation trip to the South Pacific. It is a little over whelming to say the least. We would like to stay 5 days on each island but are unsure which islands would best fit our likes. We both like to snorkel and I am a diver. We like to relax on not-so-busy beaches but not secluded beaches (aka; access to public bathrooms, parking, shower to wash off after). We like to go out to local restaurants but don't really care for the busy nightlife. We are looking to spend a modest amount, not looking for the cheapest or the most expensive. I have read that travel from one island to another can be tricky so any help in that area would be great. Thank you in advance for your help.
