My fiance and I are getting married in Summer 2011 and have started to think about our honeymoon.
We have 3 weeks off work in total (i wish longer!).
We have travelled alot to Asia and i backpacked in Australia a good few years ago!
Ideally we would like to visit Australia via Cook Islands/Tahiti and we are on a tight budget!
My first thoughts were flying from London - LA - Cook Islands - Oz - Tahiti - London but this might be a bit ambitious in just 3 weeks as we would prefer to be relaxing than travelling!
Another thought was to travel to South America for 3 weeks instead.
We are both sunlovers and beach bums so would prefer to be on idylic islands and overwater bungalows with some activities to keep us occupied in the day.
All very vague, anyway if anyone has done a 3 week honeymoon to either of the desitnations above, i would be grateful if you could share your initerary, suggest places to stay or give me some sensible options!
We will have approx £5000 budget for accom and flights.
