5 Days in Fiji - Shark Diving & VoliVoli diving are must!Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea
Hello all and thanks in advance for your tips and help. I'm on a RTW trip, i'm currently in Auckland NZ. Myself and my girlfriend fly to Fiji tomorrow. We have 5 days and are unsure about how to tackle Fiji and get the most. We are on a budget of around 200FJD a day so not huge but not too constrained. We would like to do the infamous shark feeding trip which i believe is in Pacific Harbour. We have also heard about how good VoliVoli diving is on the north of the island which is a must for us (due to some poor diving in NZ). I'd like to experience a island also but not quite sure how to fit it all in, i was hoping someone could help.... Thanks
You don't say whether your budget is $200 per day total, or per person... The Shark Dive ain't cheap... $245 for 2 dives, plus equipment hire etc etc. Two dives at VoliVoli is $183. Viti Levu is pretty easy to get around. Plenty of buses from Nadi to Pacific Harbour - Sunbeam is one that has timetables online - http://www.sunbeamfiji.com/ You can then get a bus up to Rakiraki via Suva, and back full circle to Nadi again. 5 days isn't long... I don't think you'll have time to go to another island as well. | 1
