7 days in Fiji - Potential ItineraryCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea
Hi all, As part of a RTW ticket Ive bought i have 7 days in Fiji. Not a lot of time i know so I am just after a little bit of advice on whats possible/not possible to fit in. in terms of what I actually want to see/do I obviously want to visit some of the islands and there is also a dive resort on the south of the mainland (pacific harbour) where you can dive with sharks which is something I 100% want to do. Any advice is welcome. James
it would be helpful to know what time you arrive and what time you leave, as the 7 days may only turn out to be 6 | 1
Times do make sense sorry. I land at 1600 on the 16th and i leave at 2140 on the 23rd June. I will probably do my diving on 17th so that is done which leaves 18th-23rd to visit a couple of islands. Hopefully thats more helpful | 2
you should be able to get a bus from the airport to Pacific Harbour the day you arrive, they leave from the departures area of the international, so you will be ready for the dive the next day, there is a nice little island Leleuvia on the east coast, and Ovalau nearby, you could take the bus around the Kings Road for a different look, then back to Nadi, where you can get to the islands or take a short cruise (Captain Cook), which would have some diving for the last few days, Lots of option, so little time | 3
Yeah that's what I was thinking, straight down and get the diving done. Captain Cook looks a great idea, thanks a lot for your help :) | 4
Do NOT dive in the last couple of days before you fly again. Cheers, | 5
Yeah I know, thats why I plan on doing my main diving at the start of my 7 days. Thanks anyway though Peter | 6
