Air Pass?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Hi,
I am just beginning to look at a trip to the Pacific next year, 2013.
I live in Sweden, and I am planning to take in most of the independent "countries" in Oceania.

Anybody here who has a good picture of the flying cost-situation, and more important, ways to reduce this...?

Thanks for any info!
Erik

There are passes covering most of Micronesia (except Nauru and Kiribati), but that's about it.

In the South Pacific you will need to buy individual one-way or return tickets. Air Pacific, based in Fiji, has the most extensive network and reasonable OW fares, so start by checking their website. The only independent countries in the SP not served by Air Pacific are PNG and Nauru, both served by their respective national airlines connecting them to both Fiji and Australia.
