Any Hawaii residents want to meet Oct 25 at Te Vaka show?Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea | ||
I heard about a show that will be here in Hawaii next week. I'm planning to go on the 25th. If there are any other SP branch people that want to meet it would be fun. Aloha, joan "Te Vaka will be in concert this month and next. If you're not familiar with them, they are a Polynesian group based in New Zealand. Their music is based on Maori, Tuvaluan, Tokelauan, and Samoan styles. They put on a good show. They performed years back on Tahiti at Place Toata - It was a great show from which they released a concert DVD.
