Any tips on Travel to Vanuatu in April 2008

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

My husband is taking all of April off from work and we are thinking of taking the family (two boys 7 and 4) to Vanuatu. This will coincide with school holidays 5-13th April. Is this a good time to travel to Vanuatu? Anyone out there had experience in Vanuatu in April? We are hopefully going for 7-10 days and it would be a shame to have rain the entire time.

We are thinking of going to Le Lagon - any feedback from past visitors?

Cheers

Melanie Foreman.

All I know is that the Le Lagoon should be a good choice for you.
Good location, close to town (for shopping, etc) but already very quiet.
It's also a specifically child-friendly place, offering special programs for kids - or it did when I was in Vanuatu.

I agree with Laszlo. Le Lagon is probably the best choice in or near Vila.

On our last trip there (with kids) we stayed not far from there at the Meridien- supposedly Vanuatu's 5 starhotel. Le Lagon is nicer and better located- plus its a bit cheaper.
