has anyone heard of this place or stayed there?
pros and cons?
just trying to find a good spot

It was perfectly fine, especially considering the price range. I'd suggest ear plugs, but it's certainly not as loud as many places on Viti Levu! The food was good, the bar was fine, the beach was pleasant as Viti Levu goes, the rooms were clean and the showers were hot. There was entertainment, which didn't go on too late. It isn't party central.

If you want somewhere inexpensive for a night or two, it's ideal. If you're looking for a tropical idyll for a week, this might not be it, but then you'd need to leave Viti Levu.
