aranui cargo boat

hi there ......its been a while but i am getting ready to set off again on a new adventure, so heres my question

i want to head back to the south pacific but i would like to see moreof it this time, i heard of a cargo boat called ARANUI. i was wondering if anyone has travelled on it and how it was. the other thing was if i wanted to get on a sail boat as crew wheres the best place to start looking??????????/

The newest version of the Aranui , think it's Aranui III, is semi-cargo, semi-passengers. It is getting a bit expesnive, more upcalse that the original cargo ship, but there may be dorm beds on the lowest deck. Friends that took it a couple of yrs ago said it was a great trip.
