Are there flight conections between Papeete (Tahiti) and Apia(Samoa)

Hi there!

I live in S-America and have the chance to catch a sail boat to Tahiti from Ecuador. Now I'd like to know what's the best way to go from Tahiti to Samoa or the Fidji? Is there a way without going to NZ or Australia?
I have to know it till the end of february, because then the boat sails.

I do believe you'll have to get to Auckland and then on to Samoa.

And the same applies to going to Fiji.
You must fly via NZ, AU or, if you prefer to go via a more exotic South Pacific route, New Caledonia (connected to Fiji, not Samoa).
And better decide this swiftly, as you will probably need an onward ticket just to enter Tahiti.
