Hi, just back from 9 really wonderful days in Fiji, Beachcomber first for 3 days (new owners, dorm is now too noisy and new staff still finding their way, great but fewer old time staff), then Mantaray Island Resort for 3 days (the Mantas are still coming in so you might still be able to go out snorkelling with them as i did with 3 each between 3 and 2 mtrs wide, and the off beach snorkelling is probably the best ive seen in the world) then up to Oarsmans Bay Lodge (perfect white sandy beach and wonderful nearby village shared by just 14 friendly other guests first night i was there) for 2 days. There are not so many folks there due to the coup and swine flue keeping people off planes so it's a perfect time to go meet the fantastic locals, lots of interesting other travellers and the standard of food the resorts now do is also really great now. I've been there 10 times in 20 years and its still one of the best places I've found to go to in the world. Ages are scattered but mostly younger girls early 20s. So go! I hope you do.
