Beaches in Fiji

Where are the best beaches in Fiji to spend some time swimming and sunbaking? I've read that most of the large resorts along Coral Coast and in Denarau have beaches that aren't great to swim in because of dead coral and because the tide goes out too far.

Do I have to do the one of the islands to get nice beach?
