Best Pacific island for young people?

I'm thinking of going to a Pacific island and would like to know where most young people go. I don't really want to end up at a Honeymoon destination.

Sounds like the Mamanucas in Fiji are what you are after. Beachcomber is one of these. Lots of backpacker accommodation, great beaches, easy to island hop on the Yasawas flyer. Most of the Yasawas (farther north) are more sedate, but some islands can be can be quite party orientated. Manta Ray springs to mind- and has amazing reefs for snorkelling.
