Boozing in the Yasawa's

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

I am travelling to Fiji this year and doing an Awesome Adventures cruise through the Yasawa's. My accomodation, food and transport is all taken care of but I'm not sure of cost of things like alcohol on the islands, including Beachcomber. Has anyone travelled on these cruises or stayed at Beachcomber? It would probably be helpful to me to know the average price of cocktails :P

Are you Australian?

Ockers are always going on about booze, booze, booze-rather boring actually.

Actually, we'd venture to say that 83% of world wide travelers enjoy their cocktails!

Im taking some spirits on next trip (duty free) to mix with juice etc

booze is definitely not the only thing we go on about... its just all i'm going to need extra money for really.
aaaaand... there's nothing wrong with being 'ocker' not that i really am.

Boozehound is a dirty word in my country-in many countries in fact.

Beachcomber is a lot of fun, and the booze isn't any more expensive than a typical OZ bar, you can certainly bring your own pre party drinks so long as they don't require refrigeration. Where they will get you is on drinking water which is really only available bottled or from a community pitcher (which is rarely refilled). Plus I would avoid some food at dinner because they are well known for recycling lunch.
