Has anyone tried to book a holiday accommodation place for the Gold Coast lately? What a nightmare! There's so many different places to choose from and all will tell you they're the best! After a nightmare trip last year, I took the advice of a friend of mine who used the Gold Coast Burleigh Tourism Website : http://goldcoastburleightourism.com.au/ Wow what a difference this made to my trip! I was able to have a look at the individual accommodations and see exactly what they offered! I was also able to organise what we could do whilst there. I have 2 teenagers so you can imagine my dilemma! Needless to say, I was able to pack the kids to the "Theme Parks" while I lazed around the beach and even got to do some Retail Therapy! The markets were a wonderful place to pick up the odd souvenir for the rest of that family! Yes there is hope.....even with 2 kids at the Gold Coast life can be easy and fun! Enjoy
I think you posted this on the wrong thread. I don't think global warming has made Burleigh a Pacific Island yet. | 1

First post, and a plug for a commercial tourist website at that. I've never experienced difficulty or confusion in booking Gold Coast accommodation and, although I personally love Burleigh, I feel that prospective GC visitors should consider all options, not just Burleigh. I don't think I'd be trying this one on the Ozbranch, sandrine. | 3
All posts for Burleigh are out of date and I would really like some advice as to where to stay in Burleigh in September 2012. I don't want anywhere on the Gold Coast Highway but would prefer The Esplanade or somewhere close to the National Park. It is just my husband and myself for three nights. We would love ocean views and easy access to good walking. Please help us you guys! There are too many choices on the net!!! | 4
I notice the OP has not posted again. Meanwhile, Lynne, post your request on the Australia and New Zealand branch, and you might get some useful responses. | 5
