| bendejo15:56 UTC09 Feb 2007 | With all the Indians in Fiji I still say there has to be a more direct and economical way between Asia and Nadi, so I'll pose the question again. The best deal I can dig up from SEA to Fiji is Tiger Air from Singapore (their flights from Thailand all funnel into the same Singapore flight) to Darwin, and then Virgin Blue to Nadi via Brisbane. Anybody find anything better?
I also see that VB has fares to Port Vila from Oz equal to the Nadi prices; however, no VB Nadi-Vila, just Pacific Air in the US$350 range.

| Laszlo00:23 UTC10 Feb 2007 | There is no direct flight from SEA to Fiji, sorry. Most Indo-Fijians have been "Fijians" for generations, never been to India, and have much less interest in going there (let alone to SEA) than in going to NZ or AU. Or so I found. So it's pretty much going via AU or a longer route like NZ or Korea.
"Bula Fares" of Air Pacific from Vila to Nadi should be less than 350 USD, more like 160 USD OW - plus tax (ca. 80 USD), of course. These fares come with few restrictions and I found them excellent value. Found Air Pacific an excellent airline, too. This might matter if you decide to prolong your stay in Vanuatu, which may well be possible unless you are on a tight schedule.
