Church in Samoa

Is it true that Samoans only wear white to church?

No, not any more. Even though it is still the most dominant color.

1

wksamoa is riht, in some places its a common practice...

2

righty-OoO

any seventh day adventist churches in apia?

3

Plenty. There is really big one in Lalovaea, together with the Seventh Day Adventist College, Bookstore and more. Anyone knows it.

4

I'm staying at Aggie Grey's resort. How far is it from there?

5

About 40 km - the distance between the resort and Apia. Are you sure that you are in the resort (at the airport) and not in Aggie Grey's Hotel in Apia (town)? From the hotel it is not far at all, maybe a mile or so. But better take a cab as you would not want to walk a mile uphill I assume.

If you really are at the resort you have better opportunities nearby. There are plenty Seven Day Adventist Churches in the area there. Just ask at the reception and they will be able to tell you.

6

Yes I am staying at the resort. The hotel would have been convenient though...

Do they have english-speaking services?

7

They should have but your next question would certainly be when and where ;-) As I am not sure about that and I might need some time to find that out, maybe you just look here and contact them directly.

8

20/21 September

Do they worship on Saturday or Sunday (like Tonga)? Doesn't matter where the service is held..wouldnt mind the drive

9

Definitely on Saturday only. Send an email to the address on the link above and they will be able to give you details about when and where. It is
samoamission (at) adventist.org.ws
