Cook Is, Raro and Aitutaki

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Hi everyone! I am planning a very last minute 1 week stay in the Cook Islands. I have been doing my research and want to take raroairlines to aitutaki, the flights are pretty expensive and nearly all sold out for my dates. QUESTION: would I be better off getting to rarotongo and booking a 2-3 air/ accommodation on the island or should I book the flight myself and look for lodging while there?

You know how in places like Thailand-Phuket, there are many offers for 1-2 day island excursions, does Rarotonga have those?

Thanks everyone, happy travels

For only a week in the Cooks, I'd ty to book the flight first while overseas. Once you get your flights, then contact a few places via e-mail and se what they have to offer.

If you can't get anything in advance, go into Air Raro ASAP after you arrive, and take it from there.
