hi,
one more question i remembered. is it possible to buy small gas baloons in PNG for a gas stove?
if not what would u recommmend.

Simply use whatever cooking facility is available already.
Likely to be a kitchen at guesthouses in towns, maybe a fireplace in villages, and an instant wood-fire made by your guide on longer treks.

They sell kerosene in small 250ml water bottles everywhere. Take a small kerosene stove.

I did and it came in handy a couple of times. More likely is that you can find budget meal options... but not always.
