for anyone considering doing some diving while in Samoa - I can highly recommend this idea to you based on my recent experience. I received one-on-one instruction in high visibility 29 degee water, no other dive/snorkel boats around, lots of marine life including close ups with giant sea turtles and a wreck dive from the 1880's. They people who run the dive shop and teach the courses are super nice and go out of their way to make it the best experience possible for the learner. I felt really comfortable the whole time.
