europe to Asia by land and sea to finally get to the PacificCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea
Hi travellers, I'm deliberating between Solomon Islands, Samoa and Cook Islands. I like adventure so for me, the less touristy the place the better and when I travel, I'm mostly after culture, tradition and beautiful landscapes. As I am from Europe, I will be going a long way and for a long time I've had this dream of crossing from Europe till Asia without flying, using any kind of transport that comes along except from anything that flies :-). Did anyone on here ever try this before? Is it very hard to pursue when on a budget? Thanking you all travel2cool
The Solomons are easily the least touristy of the 3 Pacific nations you picked. | 1
I've travelled from Sydney to London without flying. As laszlo says,,it is not particularly hard. You just need plenty of time, some money and a lot of patience ;-) | 2
