fales in tonga??

Hi peoples
Last year i did a trip to Western Samoa and loved it. Im intending on doing a trip this xmas/new year to Tonga.
Can anyone tell me if they have the same set up as Samoa accommodation wise? ie are there cheap fales all over the place?
We hired scooters and got around Samoa like that. Is this possible to do in Tonga? Can you hire scooters at all? and if so can the be transported by boat to the surrounding islands?

No, Tonga is quite different to Samoa. There are no cheap fales like in Samoa and except in Ha'apai there isn't really cheap, on-the-beach accommodation. Scooters would only be of use on the main islands in each island group and transporting them between these islands is not feasible.
