i am landing in fiji for one week and would like to go surfing can anyone recomend any hostels . i am pretty much a beginner is there anywhere that gives tuition?

Fiji's main surfing breaks are around coral reefs. No place for a beginner. It'd be like learning to surf at the Pipeline. However, there is a good safe break near the mouth of the Sigatoka River called Kulukulu. Possibly the only on in Fiji. Learn to surf a little at home before you go.
