fiji for nine days, leaving in a few days

Hey everyone!
I'm an uni student in Australia who will be travelling to Fiji for nine days with my two girlfriends. We leave Friday and will even be there for my 21st birthday! wohoo! We are looking for some advice as to a wide range of activities around Nadi and mostly on the islands. Which islands are a necessity to hit up? Is Beachcomber the place to be for my birthday? We want a good mixture of culture, hiking, beach days, waterfalls, with a few nights of good partying....our budget is limited, but we will splurge for an amazing experience. Hi i went to fiji for 2 weeks, stayed in the nadi bay hotel for 3 nights, i recommend it, its got 2 swimming pools and bars and restaurants and u actualy feel like ur in a resort even though your staying in dorms. it was so cheap aswell. From there we booked our trip, we just did the mamanucas as we were tight on cash....we did mana island which i loved, ive heard people saying they dont like it but i had a good time, the crowd was good and you can do a real nice day boat trip to a few islands and have a bbq etc....theres one hostel on the island and its grand....we stayed there for 3 days and then went to beachcomber island...im all about partying but i found that beachcomber was a younger crowd and everybody is in big groups and didnt really mingle, at least when theres only a bunch then everyone gets to know everyone....i suppose it is the party island its got a big bar.....loads of stuff going on all the time....200 dorm beds in 1 room, it was horrible....we had bad weather there so maybe it just wrecked it a bit but defo my least favourite island...from there we went to bounty island and really like there...its small but nice and again if theres a good crowd then its a good piss up, we were out all night drinking, theres only the hostel beach bar, but it was busy and fun.....then we went to south sea island i think i walked the whole island in under a minute...9 people stayed on the island and we just sat around drinking every night...jesus it was such a small island but good fun.....i found fiji expensive for accomodation but we did it as cheap as we cud....hope this helps

I ended up going to Nadi bay for 3 nights and LOVED it! Very affordable and relaxing on our way to and from the islands. Thanks!
