Fiji....help?

Hi.. we are flying to Fiji at the end of June for 3 weeks.. flying into Nadi but that is as far as we have got.. there are lots of different islands and resorts and wondered if anyone could recomment where to try or where NOT to try? We are a 40 something year old couple.. on a budget but not interested in hostel type accommodation... someone told us that we should steer clear of anywhere near Nadi? We were looking at suvasuva as a possibility - is it easy/cheap to travel there from Nadi - or is there anywhere recommended on the main island for a stay....lots of questions I know, but any help or direction would be appreciated..cheers

You probably want one of the Yasawa Is or Mamanucas. Why not read previous posts here, read some guide books, then come back for suggestions. I was on Orasmans last year and loved it, but there are many others to choose from
