| morphicwool05:04 UTC19 Jan 2008 | Hello, any recommendations for the following requirements:
-
smaller island most suited to couples with accomodation close to water, some distance/privacy from other rooms & a room that has a private plunge pool? Price up to AU$350 a night (is this reasonable price?)
-
what is this suggested island like for coral underfoot when swimming in the ocean's shallow waters? prefer island with less coral
Thanks :)

| austinjack05:36 UTC20 Jan 2008 | Hi I travelled to Fiji on a cruise and would have to say that if i were to stay for holiday i would definately go to the Yasawa I Rara ( Yasawa Islands)this would have to be one of the most natural beautiful place i have evere seen. The Bures are on the beach front (but i dont think there are private pools) it very secluded and is enchanting. I know that they are expensive but check out a website. The is definately swimming on the beach as well as snorkling about 30m out. Also the bures are are very romantic. Hope you do well in your seach

They have 15 bures all next to the water. You find all info at www.toberua.com This Island is a real little gem. And reefshoes are generally a good idea.
