Fiji One day layover recommendation

My boyfriend and I are looking for a comfortable, good value place to stay for our one day layover in Fiji. Read over some posts and looked up Raffles as being close to the airport. But it looks kind of pricey. Any other recommendations for affordable places? We're leaving early in the morning to go to New Zealand (8 am) so we do need to be relatively close to airport. We have a full day before and are planning on taking a boat tour to some of the close islands. Any recommendations would be awesome.

Try the Capricorn International, a 10 min. taxi ride from the airport, looked good, restaurants nearby,. Internet rates about F$90/night.

We did a one night stay at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel and would gladly recommend it. You can stay in a twin or dorm room. It's cheap and comfortable.

My son and I stayed at the Tanoa Resort, it is about 5 minutes from airport. It has nice comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a great bar with local music every evening. Try it.
