| Ash5408:18 UTC08 Mar 2016 | Hi guys On my RTW trip and am planning a Pacific island stopover between the USA and getting home to NZ. I am looking at a choice of Fiji or Hawaii however I am looking at coming back around January which seems to be a bad time of year for both as it's winter in Hawaii and it's rainy/cyclone season in Fiji. Flight wise they are pretty similar as both have direct flights back to Auckland. But which one would you reccomend. Have also looked at other Pacific islands like Tahiti but flights from LAX and to Auckland are far more expensive. Thoughts on which one you would recommend? Cheers (=
