Fiji-Tonga

I've just been invited to attend an interview in Lautoka. The people will give me free accommodation and pay half the airfare. Sounds too good to say no to.

But I thought I might go to Tonga while I am there.

I would like to do Newcastle (or Sydney if I have to)-Fiji-Tonga-Australia or Australia-Tong-Fiji-Australia.

I can't figure out how to get me and my golf sticks to Tonga from Fiji and vice versa.

So any ideas?

Option 1: Cheapest RT ticket to Nadi (half of it paid for you) + RT ticket using Air Pacific's Bula Fares from Nadi to Tonga
A variation on this could be simply getting an Air Pacific ticket from AU to Tonga RT, with a stopover in Nadi (their hub).

Option 2: Virgin's budget flight, booked online, AU to Nadi OW, Air Pacific's Bula Fare flight from Nadi to Tonga OW, back from Tonga to AU with Virgin OW.

How do i get from Nadi to Nuku'Alofa and back? Air Pacific don't seem to have it on their list.

They sure do!
They list it as: Nadi-Tonga 219.00 131.80
The first number is the basic fare, the 2nd the tax.
Both in Fijian dollars, of course!
It's actually their very cheapest international destnation.

I might add that their Nadi-Tonga flights tend to stop in Suva, so you could get off there on the way back if you prefer.

The rate Laszlo wrote is offered as a mother's day special - but maybe they extend it!
