Fiji Visit

I will be in Fiji for about 5 days on business. What can I get into when the day is done?

Any particular PART of Fiji?
What do you WANT to get into? Cafes? Nightclubs? Shops?
Also "when the day is done - I assume that you mean about 5pm?
Where are you staying the night (accom)?

I dont mean to be contrary, but Fiji is a big place. Its like me saying "what can I do in the USA"?

If near Nadi, go into a Denarau hotel and get a drink. If in Suva, go to a local ex-pat bar. Stay away from the purely local ones on the back roads of town.

OP--Pretty safe walking around Suva until maybe midnight in the back areas of town near those local bars. After that there are a lot of drinks on the road, and you can get hassled. Not really too dangerous, just not pleasant.

Even some of the tourist-type shows are well worth watching. But if you go to a "fire-walking" type show, get there early, and watch how they put lots of green leaves on the rocks they will later be walking on! They remove them about five minutes before the show, so they are warm, but not that hot. (Just something to give you a different thing to look for than you'll read about in the brochures.)
