Fiji with kids

I am planning a holiday with my family to Fiji, would like some advice on where to stay. I have read that the Coral Coast is nothing special, so trying to decide between Denerau, Mamanuca or Yasawa Islands. It seems that most of the kids clubs cater from 4 yrs onwards. My kids are 3 & 7 months. Are there any resorts that accept 3 year olds? Any advice or tips on the above would be appreciated.

The Coral Coast is fine, but the beaches are not as good as the off-shore islands. Better than Denarau though, where the beaches tend to be black mud.

There are lots of child friendly resorts, but I can't give advice on this really. But I do know that many that do not allow babies in the kids clubs have baby sitters/nannies available at very reasonable rates. I really suggest you go on to TripAdvisor with these queries. Lots of families who take lots of holidays to Fiji. This is the link to the main forum.

I can't give you a specific place, but can confirm that the Coral Coast isn't special, and niether is Denarau.

We did some day trips to off shore islands ( one was Mala Mala), and boy, they were good. Dazzling white sand, blinding sun shining onto beautiful clear water.

Try an Island.

Yasawas - look at Octopus Resort on Waya or Blue Lagoon Beach Resort on Nacula. Neither has a kids club but you probably don't want one with children of that age - both very child friendly though and can arrange lovely baby sitter for you at very reasonable rates. BL further out so longer boat trip to get there. Both have lovely beach, good snorkelling, very friendly people, great food (they are 'sister' resorts).

I've known Treasure Island Resort in Fiji to be a family resort and kids are taken care of by the staff at the resort for a good rate if parents want to have some time to themselves. Been here several times before and is a lovely place!! There is a website I found with good packages for families to this island...Like Stay 5nights pay 4 etc. Let me know if u interested!!
