Flgiths from Polynesia to Fiji

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Can anyone tell us if there are any flights that link directly between Tahiti and Fiji and then between Fiji and either Hong Kong or Singapore?
Thanks

None from Tahiti to Fiji anymore. Only one west is to the Cooks, it's a smaller local airline, thus a separate fare. You could head to New Zealand from Tahiti, and then back up to Fiji from there.

From Fiji there should be a pretty simple way to get to Hong Hong, even simpler to Singapore, probably via Australia. Fiji is the main hub. Try checking Qantas and others that serve Nadi, Fiji.

Korean Airlines out of Seoul seems to be the only Asian airline flying to Fiji - you could look into flying to Seoul from Hong Kong or Singapore with them, otherwise you have to do as Raro says and go via Australia or New Zealand.

I just want to add that for all I know, there is still another direct westward connection from Tahiti to the rest of the South Pacific, even straight into Melanesia: to New Caledonia on Aircalin.

New Caledonia is a gorgeous, rather undervisited place in its own right, and from there there are direct connections to Fiji. It may well work out pricier than going via NZ, but Aircalin does offer special fares that might be worth looking into.

Also, Aircalin's Oceanie Pass could be a useful way of covering this route for a decent price. Bought in the US, Tahiti-NC-Fiji could cost only 500 USD!
