FSM to Fiji by plane

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Does anyone have some information on this route?

I'd like to know average prices for doing this, and possible stopovers on the way.

I plan it for late January 2010.

You can fly from Guam to Fiji via Continental airlines (service begins December 18, 2009) .

There are no stop-overs between the FSM and Guam or Guam and Fiji.

You could also head the other way to Hawaii and stop over in the Marshall Islands on the way. The flights between Hawaii and Fiji are non-stops also.

Silvanocat - thanks for that piece of news. We would oive to go back to Fiji and Palau - being able to transit via Guam would be great! Now, if only I could win the newest Canadian lotto I'd be all set!!

2

Oops - that should read love, not oive.

That new Contınental lınk wıll be great ındeed, hopfully ıt wıll last and wıll be prıced at least competıtıvely compared wıth transıtıng vıa Hawaıı or Asıa and AU.

newfıe, you can edıt typos ın your posts nowadays by clıckıng on the pencıl ıcon over them - but only as long as no one has put another reply after yours.

Are there any flights between FSM or Guam and Nauru?

Laszlo - thanks for that information. However, I am technically challenged(to put it mildly) and I have no idea where this pencil icon is! I generally reply by typing in the "quick reply" box - should I try the "reply to this thread" instead to find the icon?

6

Laszlo - disregard my last question - when I posted I noticed the pencil icon! Duh! I think I just might get the hang of this computer stuff after all! LOL

OG: Guam is in fact THE main hub for FSM, but has no flights to Nauru.
In Micronesia, it is only linked to the Marianas, the FSM, Palau and the Marshalls with more or less direct flights, I think.

Yep newfie, that pencil icon is only there as long as your post is still the last one on the thread.
