Getting from NZ to Fiji anf from Fiji to the Cook Islands

How do you get from New Zealand to Fiji and from Fiji to the Cook Islands? Is it easy? Cheap? And will I need to book in advance?

You can go to Fiji from Auckland (and maybe other airports) in New Zealand. And you can go to the Cook Islands from Auckland. But you cannot go from Fiji to the Cook Islands. Simple as that. No flights anymore. So it would have to be Auckland - Fiji - Auckland - Cooks - Auckland ...

You do not need to book in advance to get a seat in the plane. Some are virtually always available. But if you want any kind of good fare and pay less you should book as early in advance as possible.

Flights between the Cooks and NZ can be full from late July to early August due to Constitution Celebrations.
