Getting Married in PNG - Anyone have any advice?

Hi, my boyfriend and I are talking about getting married in PNG in August as my parents are up there indefinitely and it's hard for them to come down here.

Just wondering how we can go about this. Does anyone have any information?

I don't think it would be very easy. I had a friend, who is not a PNG citizen, marry her PNG husband and it was quite a saga to have it recognized.

It may be different for two foreigners getting married in PNG but it may not be recognized back in your home country.
