Getting to Fiji from UK

Hi All,

What’s the cheapest way of getting to Fiji from the UK? Looked at flights and there totally out of my league. Is going to Oz first and then a flight on from their the best bet or does anyone have a better suggestion? My mates are getting married their and I really want to go, but I fancy combining it with a couple of weeks in Vietnam or somewhere like that. Is this a totally unrealistic idea for a sub £600 - £700 budget ?! Go on…..laugh if you want, I know it’s a long shot.

Well, I'm not laughing, just letting you know it would be virtually impossible to go from the UK to Fiji, Vietnam, and back---even just to Fiji and back---for that figure.

In general, cheapest ticket for this type of thing is RTW, with stopovers, but those will probably also be more than your budget.
