Getting to Palau

We were hoping to visit Palau in April flying from Manila with Asian Spirit. In checking their schedule just now I cannot find any reference to a Manila-Palau route. Does anyone (Papa Mike) know if they have dropped this route? Any other way to get there beside Continental(way too expensive)? Otherwise I'm not getting to Palau on this trip!! Guess I'll just have to do with reading Papa Mike's guidebook!

Hi Newfie,

My book has a lot of useful information, but hardly substitutes for a trip to Palau, so let's see if we can get you there. I think you will need to fly Asian Spirit out of Cebu Mactan Airport, not the Manila Airport. I found a flight #6K 219 which flies on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Cebu Pacific was flying out of the same airport, but I believe they discontinued their flights. Try contacting the airline to confirm the flights, things are constantly changing in the South Pacific.
