Happy Holidays!Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea
At this time I would like to wish all my fellow posters the best of the Holiday season and a prosperous, productive 2008! Oh yes, and many, many sun-soaked island dreams!
This just makes me realize how lucky I (and other posters) might be not to have to be content with dreams instead of the real thing. ;-) | 1
And to you..
I drown my sorrows in alpine skiing while making my plans. Life is tough.. | 2
Happy Xmas to all my friends on TT - next year will definately be filled with sun-soaked island dreams for us. Vanuatu in March & New Cal & Lifou in September. | 3
And to you and yours- may we all meet on some warm and sunny beach with a tropical drink in hand and the warm Pacific lapping at our toes. | 4
Have a good holiday Greg, and all the other regulars, and newbies as well! | 5
You too Raro- a very merry and a most happy happy. | 6
Just joining in to say Merry Christmas and good wishes for the new year. I am glad you regulars stayed on with all the TT changes.....would miss you if you had left. Aloha | 7
Seasons Greetings! Hopefully the New Year will bring us a better Thorntree (like the old version that worked.) | 8
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Sunny New Year to all my fellow island-lovers. | 9
Just got back from three weeks in the Cooks. Rained every day but we had a fantastic time. Merry Christmas to all. Donna | 10
Merry Christmas too from me - and a fantastic New Year to all! | 11
"sun-soaked"??? - it's rather rain-soaked here in Fiji. Could take the canoe and paddle in my garden. Nevertheless - a very happy christmas time to you all! | 12
Keep on traveling and never stop, for you will be lost. Igor | 13
The very best of the Christmas season to all who frequent this forum. I,too, am glad that the regulars have stuck it out with all the new changes. Although there is not a trip to the South Pacific (thanks to Asian Spirit dropping their Palau flight) in our plans for this year, I like to visit this forum to keep the memories of past trips alive - if you all left it wouldn't be the same! | 14
But Palau isn't in the South Pacific- so if you get to the PI, you are in the Pacific enough to count. And somehow, this remains home, even with the complaints. | 15
Merry Christmas to all! (My first post on the "improved" TT - I hope this bit works!) At least 150 years since we left England, but still planning for a big, roast Christmas tomorrow, with the artificial pine tree in the Lounge, covered in snowing decorations. The benefit of Christmas in the South is that I've sent the Catholics in the family off to Mass, and just enjoyed a lovely shower, and sipped a G&T in the evening sun while sitting outside in just a towel (while The Rolling Stones are cranked up to maximum volume!). Supper is almost ready - the oysters are sitting in the Fridge, and the Champagne is chilling. And Santa will be here soon, pulled by his six big white Kangaroos across the Southern sky. Have a wonderful and joyous time, and may 2008 see all of your dreams come true (including a fix for TT!) Rob | 16
A very Merry Christmas to everyone and all the best for the New Year. I'm spending Christmas in the UK, so can only dream of the islands for now. Roll on 2008, Rapa Nui awaits (as does a stint at grizzley bear watching from Campbell River). | 17
After celebrating Christmas in Tonga, then on Air New Zealand (flight attendents wearing reindeer headresses and twinkling elf caps, Cadbury Santa treats with our meals), I'm now home having Christmas in Los Angeles, listening to Bing Crosby and anticipating my first hot shower in 20 days. | 18
Happy Holidays to everyone old and new. Trying to stay warm and dry here. Planning a trip to Tahiti on the Aranui for me and surf for the kids(grown now). I miss the Cook Islands, but its too hard to get there from Hawaii. Aloha, Joan | 19
