Heard of Nadi Hotel?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Has anyone stayed at the Nadi Hotel in downtown Nadi (not the Nadi Bay Hotel)? We want to stay right in Nadi if possible and saw this hotel on a list but have never heard of it and can't find a website.

Just want a cheap, clean place to overnight close to the buses and restaurants in Nadi.

Never heard anything good about the place-it's a gawdawful grubby dive IIRC.

Thanks for that we'll give it a miss. Do you know of any other place that's in central Nadi or are we best to stay out by the beach?

Not sure why you want to stay right in Nadi for to use a phrase it's a gawdawful grubby dive.

But that said, if the Nadi Hotel is the white place on the left as you're heading in direction of Suva, I had lunch there one day and from that aspect it wasn't too bad, but rooms?

Anyway, Nomads Skylodge seemed a reasonable place, in good grounds anyway on Queens Road - check the site on BUG and there's one other on Queens Road but could be further out.

This one is mentioned on another thread by Venezio - it's supposed to be up near a temple(Hindu?) that I had a look at near Suva end of Nadi - doesn't look too bad on site.

Sounds good I'll check it out. Wanted to stay in town as we get in about 7pm and there is a great Japanese restaurant downtown we'd like to go to again, then we head out the next day by bus so thought it would be handy and easier. But have had no reply from my email to Nadi hotel and wasn't sure if there was anywhere else actually in Nadi. Thanks for your help.
