We want to go on a honeymoon in Dec/Jan 08/09. We have a few concerns with the weather at this time of year and we were just wondering if anyone could share their experience of traveling in the pacific (New Caledonia/Cook Islands) or nothern Australia at this time of year. We would be flying out of Melbourne Australian and are looking for desitnation that is not too expensive.
An alternative we've been thinking of is Asia (Sabah) if the weather is too risky in the pacific that time of year. On that note, we noticed that the Australian Government has put out a travel advisory to Sabah. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has recently been there.
