How can I see it all?

I'll be sailing in Fiji for the month of September and have an open itinerary after that. What's the best way to see the Pacific Islands?

Is there a flight pass (hopefully cheap) where I could pick and choose what islands to visit?

Is it easy to hop on boats as a crew member?

Any suggestions of places I must visit?

I don't have any time constraints, but am definitely on a budget.
