How long to spend on Viti Levu?

Hello,

I'm going to Fiji for 13 days with a friend at the end of June and I wondered how long you would recommend staying on Viti Levu. My provisional plan is to spend 7 days there and 6 days "island-hopping,"I want a relaxing holiday with some watersports or snorkelling etc but I also want to see as much of Fiji as possible. I hope this is not too much to ask!

7 nights would give you a pretty good look around.
I suggest circumnavigating Viti Levu by bus and stop at a few places along the way.
1 day Lautoka, 1 day Raki Raki, 1 day east coast, 1 day Suva, 1 day Sigatoka area (take an inland trip from there).
